Mel Renfro was always asleep on an airplane but always awake in the secondary. He had the speed of a natural athlete and could stay with any receiver. We had many games where they never threw the ball in Mel's direction. He was so quiet that we probably didn't appreciate his ability as much as we should have. Now I realize he was a phenomenal athlete.
