Chuck Howley played linebacker brilliantly. He made All-Pro six times, played in six Pro Bowls and was voted MVP in our first Super Bowl. But he always wanted to kick field goals, too. So he had his kicking shoe at practice every day and would try out every chance he could. I know how he felt. I tried for 14 years to be and punter and I never made it either.
